were married last week.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D.
Dosie of Oak Park. Parents
of the bridegroom are Mr.
and Mrs. Jordan I. Pollack,
former Detroiters of Dallas,
Tex. The new Mrs. Pollack
was graduated from East-
ern Michigan University.
Her husband attended the
University of Texas and
North Texas State Univer-
ty. The couple is residing
Dallas.

Forest in Israel Announced
on Parzen's 75th Birthday

A Jewish National Fund
forest is being planted in Is-
rael in tribute to the mem-
ory of Charles and Malka
Parzen, it was announced
Stinday at the 75th birthday
celebration of George Par-
zen.
Joining with the celeb-
rant in planting the forest
are -his brothers, Rabbi
Herbert Parzen and Louis
Parzen, and their sister,
Florence (Mrs. Aaron)
Friedman, and their
families.
The JNF forest of 10,000
trees is in Lahav in the
Negev, where a three
million-tree project is now
in the process of planting.
Born in Lodz, Poland,
George Parzen was brought
to Detroit by his parents at
the age of four.
This year, the Detroit
Bar Association will
award him its 50th An-
niversary Citation, mark-
ing half-a-century of
active law practice.

Kelly. About 1,100 guests
attended.
The awards were pre-
sented by Ambassador Ep-
hraim Evron. The theme of
the ball was "Make the
Negev Bloom."
