Southfield • 353.0707 Oak Park's Zoning Board of Appeals on Tuesday - cleared the first step for Yeshivath Beth Yehudah to use Roosevelt School on Greenfield south of Ten Mile as a boy's school and dormitory. The board approved the use of the facility for those purposes by the yeshiva. However, according to a yeshiva spokesman, the second step in the approval process is to request a zon- ing change for a portion of the school property to gen- eral commercial use. This would allow the school to sub-lease that portion to the adjacent Ford dealership. Area residents are repor- tedly opposed to expansion of the dealership.
