Carter Urged
to Support State
for Palestinians

TEL AVIV (ZINS) — The
U.S. Central Intelligence
Agency has urged President
Carter to support the crea-
tion of a Palestinian state to
gain Arab cooperation
against Soviet pressure in
the Mideast, it was reported
by Maariv.
According to the Israel
daily, the CIA report to the
U.S. Pi-esident was pre-
pared two months ago and
all of the U.S. Administra-
lls tion's Middle East spe-
ial sts had access to it.
aariv did not reveal how
its correspondent gained ac-
cess to the report.

Dinner Concludes Annual Campaign

Flint Jewish Community

gather for a dairy potluck

Kronick have been invited
to join a goodwill tour of
Venezuela to play soccer
with the U.S. Maccabia
team June 23-July 4. Brian,
a member of the Cornell
University varsity soccer
team, played with the U.S.
team last year in Mexico.
Scott, co-captain of the
Carman High School soccer
team, was invited as a fill-in
for the team. Brian and
Scott are the sons of Mr. and
