Southfield Student Receives Top Honor at Wayne State Oakland County Corn- missioner Dennis M. Aaron (D-Oak Park) has filed suit in Oakland County Circuit Court to have the name of challenger Norman Goldman removed from the Aug. 5 primary ballot. Goldman wants to use his Hebrew middle name, It- zhak, on the ballot with his English name. Aaron claims that Goldman wants to use his Hebrew middle name to imply that he is a religious man. Aaron has the same Hebrew middle name. A court hearing on the suit is scheduled for next Wednesday. Edward Hurvitz of South- field has been named a co- winner of Wayne State University's Howard A. Donnelly Leadership and Scholarship Award. Hur- vitz will be honored at WSU commencement exercises, 8:30 p.m. this Tuesday. The award recognizes the man and woman "who have made the most outstanding contributions in both stu- dent activities and aca- demic scholarship in their undergraduate work at the university."
