Out of Running?

WASHINGTON
Former Treasury Secretary
William Simon appears to
have hurt his chances of
being Ronald Reagan's
running-mate on the Re-
publican ticket.
According to Newsweek
magazine, Reagan advisers
are concerned about voter
reaction to Simon's in-
volvement in a Saudi Ara-
bian investment group.
