THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Haber Awards Go to Five Campus Groups WASHINGTON — The Bnai Brith Hillel Founda- tion has honored five college student organizations with the William Haber Award for outstanding ptograms and activities during the last school year. The groups are the Hillel foundations at Brandeis University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Massachu- setts, and San Francisco State University. The fifth group is the Jewish Associa- tion for College Youth of New York. The awards, named in ignition of the more than _years of communal con- tributions by Dr. William Haber, adviser to the president at the University of Michigan and honorary chairman of the Hillel Commission, were pre- sented at the commission's annual meeting. Israeli VIPs Met with Shah TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Uri Lubrani, former head of the Israeli legation in Iran, has disclosed in a Davar article that top Israeli leaders met secretly with the Shah of Iran while the Shah was in power. Lubrani said the Shah's visitors included David Ben-Gurion, Golda Meir, Yitzhak Rabin, Yigal Allon, Moshe Dayan, Abba Eban and Menahem Begin. Allon reportedly visited e Shah in 1976 to discuss _ran's supply of oil to Israel. NF Appoints field Director NEW YORK — Rabbi Mortimer J.
