Home for Aged Workshop

Residents of the Jewish
Home for Aged and mem-
bers of its day program par-
ticipate in a creative ex-
pression workshop under
the direction of volunteer
Marilyn Rowens.
The program, now in its
second year, allows the el-
derly to express themselves
through poetry. A variety of
topics are covered.

The continuing story of
the militarily-oriented
Henry family, which re-

million copies.
As "War and Remembr-
ance" begins, naval officer
Victor (Pug) Henry's ship is
sunk at Pearl Harbor. La-
ter, Henry commands a
cruiser at the Battle of
Midway and eventually be-
comes a special envoy to
President Roosevelt.
Henry's two sons, Warren
and Byron also serve with
the Navy, one a pilot and
the other a submarine offi-
cer. Byron's wife and family
are trapped in Europe try-
ing to escape Hitler.
