The dinner is sponsored by the Metropolitan Detroit Fed- eration of Reform Synagogues. Mrs. Winton served at Temple Beth El as an assis- tant to the late Irving I. Katz, and subsequent to his death last year, has coordi- nated and supervised Beth El's staff. She is an officer of the congregation and a member of its board of trustees. Previously, she served as president of the sisterhood of Temple Beth El and of the Michigan State Temple Sis- terhoods.
