for MDA Drive

The Muscular Dystrophy
Association is seeking
30,000 volunteers for its
door-to-door campaign to be
held June 3.
Proceeds from the drive
will help to provide funds
for research grants, diag-

occupational therapy,
braces, wheelchairs, genetic
counseling and miscellane-

haddock fillet
2 tbsps. oil
1 /2 cup chopped onion
1 /4 cup chopped mushrooms
2 cups grated potatoes
1 /2 tsp. salt
1 /4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1/4 cup corn flake crumbs
oil
Brown onions and mush-
rooms in oil. Add all ingre-
dients except crumbs and mix.
Form into patties and coat with
crumbs. Fry in hot oil until gol-
den brown on both sides.
Serves four.

TEL AVIV (JTA) — Haifa
police are searching for per-
sons responsible for having
painted swastikas and two
anti-Semitic slogans,
"Death to the Jews," on the
walls of Technion Univer-
sity's Churchill Auditorium
in Haifa last weekend.

zer, president of American Federal Savings, testified
on behalf of the U.S. League of Savings Associations
against a Carter Administration proposal to withhold
15 percent of savings account interest for taxes. Zelt-
zer said the cost of collecting the tax would be three
times what the plan would net the government.
