A state proclamation for Jerusalem Day will be pre- sented by Rep. Joe Forbes and Sen. Doug Ross. An Oak Park proclamation will be presented by Mayor David Shepherd. Participants are asked to wear blue and white and to bring a picnic lunch. There will be music and Israeli dancing. In case of rain the program will be held at the Jimmy Morris Prentis Branch of the Jewish Corn- JERUSALEM (JTA) — The liberation of Jerusalem in 1967 was hailed by Pre- mier Menahem Begin as "one of the greatest days of victory in the annals of the ancient Jewish people" when "we returned to the source." In a special mes- sage released on the eve of Jerusalem Day (Wednes- day) which marks the 13th anniversary of the reunifi- cation of the city, Begin de- clared: "This year we celebrate the Bar Mitzva of the libera- tion and reunification of Jerusalem, the capital of Is- rael for three millenia and for all generations to come. It is the most sacred Bar Mitzva in the lives of our people, both in the land of Israel and in the Diaspors.
