feature Dr. Bruno Bet-
telheim at 7:30 p.m. Sunday
at the temple. His topic is
"Lessons for Living."
Dr. Bettelheim is the re-
tired Stella M. Rowley Dis-
tinguished Service Profes-
sor of Education, and also
professor of psychology and
psychiatry at the Univer-
sity of Chicago. He was di-
rector of the Orthogenic
School, the university's
residential treatment cen-
ter for severely emotionally
disturbed children.
Born in Vienna, Austria,
he received his PhD degree
in psychology and philos-
