Avoid all singularity and
affectation. — What is ac-
cording to nature is best,
while what is contrary to it
is always distasteful. Noth-
ing is graceful that is not
our own.

Hebrew U. Arab
Student May.
Be Expelled

JERUSALEM (JTA) —
An Arab student at the He-
brew University has been
barred from the dormitory
for one year and may be ex-
pelled for an alleged affront
to the memory of Holocaust
victims.
A maintenance worker at
the Mt. Scopus campus re-
ported that Sulieman
Hashem, a freshman, blew
out a memorial candle on
Yom Hashoa (April 13).
Hashem did not deny the
accusation. He said he
thought the candle was lit
because of a power failure
and blew it out when the
power was restored.
But the dormitory disci-
plinary committee ordered
him to move out. The stu-
dent faces a university
disciplinary court which
may expel him and possible
legal action initiated by the
police.
