The Best of Everything

THERE IS NO other
way to get to the Summit
Restaurant on the 72nd
floor of Hotel Plaza than by
elevator . . . which costs $1
. . . and it is not taken off
your bill . . . Very strange
that any management
would allow such ridiculous
"carrying charge" for some-
one to eat at their place.
When this was brought to
our attention, I disbeliev-
ingly called the Summit
twice . . . After all, what res-
taurant that needs business
is going to make it more ab-
surd for someone to eat
there . . . Both times I was
told about the charge by
employees who no doubt
can't understand it them-
selves.
As one person, who can
afford to eat out 21 times

and be able to buy any of
the restaurants he dines
at, remarked, he'd rather
fly to New York and eat
than pay that dollar be-
cause of principle.

ing to pay to get into a res-
taurant these days," says

$1 would be charged to go
