The featured speaker at the meeting will be Dr. Sol- omon B. Freehof, an authority on rabbinic responsa. Rabbi Freehof - will speak on American Jewish history during the society's May 4 luncheon. The ad, which appeared in the April 4 issues of The National Review," "The New Republic," and "Com- mentary," was sponsored by- the Argentine embassy. The advertisement referred to Spitzer as a "prominent guest," suggesting, errone- ously, that he was "an offi- cial guest of the Argentine government" and, "inferen- tially, that he supports the policies of that govern- ment," according to Daniel Thurz, Bnai Brith Interna- tional executive vice president.
