EXCALIBUR Hair Styling Salon You came as I walked through the garden of delight, Jerusalem I love you because you are more in me than I am in you. In my heart you have no borders And you bring peace to me when war rages within. When I set up walls so that no one knows me, I cry upon your shoulder And remember who I am. I am an eagle in flight Soaring heavenward towards long forgotten ecstacies. In you my youth is renewed. GUY MINNELLA Graves of Jewish Soldiers Desecrated in Normandy 353-4848 PARIS (JTA) — The graves of 22 Canadian Jewish soldiers who were killed in World War II dur- ing the Allied landings in Normandy and were buried in the military cemetery at Chateau-Bretteville in Normandy were desecrated last week. The tombstones were overturned and smashed and vandals scrawled anti- Semitic slogans on them, including "Against the Jewish invasion — It is only the beginning." No organization has claimed responsibility and police say they have no clues as to who is responsi- ble. The cemetery is on an isolated hilltop and is un- guarded. There are 1,000 graves in the cemetery of Canadian soldiers who were killed in the 1944 Allied landings which heralded the libera- tion of France from Nazi oc- cupation. Following last week's de- secration, a delegation of French Jews led by the rabbi of Chateau- Bretteville laid wreaths on International Hair Styling Award Winner the graves of the 22 Jewish soldiers. The town's mayor, Michel Lebaron, said that repairs would be completed as soon as possible; Call for your appt. 24901 Northwestern Suite 111 Heritage Bldg. S.W.
