Don't throW out last year's clothing
just because the lapels are a little
wide or the slacks have a larger
flare than this season. Encore
Men's Clothier can alter any
garment and make it up to date.
It's a real inflation fighter. We can:
• Taper lapels
• Taper slacks
• Close up vents
• Narrow ties
• Make old clothes like new .
• Alter men & women's clothing

An independent Palesti-
nian state would pose no
threat to Israeli security,
according to Mattityahu
Peled, a retired Israeli gen-
eral and a member of the
Shelli party.
Peled, who is espousing
an "alternative Israeli vie-
wpoint to the Palestinian
problem" in speeches across
the country, spoke at the
Oak Park Community Cen-
ter last week.
"I don't see any solutions
other than allowing them
(the Palestinians) to deter-
mine their own political fu-
ture, which in all probabil-
ity will be that of establish-
ing their own state," Peled
said.
