Mrs. Hearshen served on the national campaign and planning committee for the Jewish Theological Semi- nary of America, and for two years she was the leader- ship training chairman for the New York Metropolitan area of the United Synagogue Sisterhoods. She was a member of the women's division of the Al- •bert Einstein Medical Schools and of the first Na- tional Women's Committee for Brandeis University. As a member of Hadas- sah, she has served in many capacities. Mrs. Hearshen also has become an active - Friday, April 11, 1980 41 participant in the work of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. She served on the board of governors of the Cleveland College of Jewish Studies and was one of the founders of the Cleveland Zionist Federation and served on its national board. Mrs..
