Sholem Aleichem Insti-
tute and the Moishe Haar
Memorial Foundation will
present a Jewish theater
performance, "Coming from
a Great Distance," 8:30 p.m.
April 19 at Southfield High
School.
The Moishe Haar Memo-
rial Foundatoin honors the
memory of Moishe Haar,
cultural leader of the
Sholem Aleichem Institute
from 1926 to 1966.
"Coming from a Great
Distance" is a contemporary
interpretation of Jewish
legends culled from a
variety of sources. The pro-
gram is performed by its
creators, Corey Fischer and
Albert Greenberg.
The program is open to
the public, free of charge.
