Editor, The Jewish News: In the times of Christ the Jewish people had a Roman general — Titus — deter- mined to destroy the Jewish state. He did it by building a wall around Jerusalem and it took him three years to do it. He called it "re- establishing Rome's sover- eign military power." In our times the Jewish people have an American President — Jimmy Carter — determined to destroy the Jewish state. He is using his entire presidential term to do it. He calls it "establish- ing a comprehensive peace in the entire Middle East."
