Oakland Century Lodge Cites
Rubenstein for His Service

Nathan D. Rubenstein, a
founder of Oakland Century
Lodge of Bnai Brith, will be
honored at the lodge's an-
nual "Spirit of Bnai Brith
Award" event April 22 at
the Furniture Club.
Rubenstein will be hon-
ored "for his contribution of
service to both the organiza-
tion and the Jewish com-
munity during 1979-1980
season."
One of the first presidents
of the lodge, Rubenstein has
been active in the Bnai
Brith Hillel Movement, the
United Jewish Appeal and
Israel Bonds. He is a past
president of Detroit Lodge
and served on the district
board of governors.
He is chairman of the
board of the Bnai Brith
Hillel Foundation at
Wayne State University
and a national Hillel
commissioner. He was
instrumental in the
founding of the Hillel
