Soprano Guest of Pro Musica

(The Best of Everything

hardly found in an Italian
restaurant is a superbly
presented Greek salad that
looks like a meal in itself .. .
It comes in a deep bowl
within a wicker basket .. .
The Greek salad at Como's
has already become an
overnight favorite.
Another different look
are the new booths at
Como's . . . high leather now
. . . plenty of intimate pri-
vacy . . . and beautiful look-
ing.
It is easy to see that
Sicilia and George Grego
don't believe in sitting still
. . . To them, having a suc-
cessful restaurant opera-
tion isn't only counting dol-
lars and cents . . . They also
derive a certain satisfaction
from making people happy.
AFTER more than 30
years in the catering field,

including Raleigh House
with Sammy Lieberman,
Jim Joseph has retired as
catering head at Sheraton
Southfield.
They gave Jim a retire-
ment party in the hotel
penthouse . . . with almost
everyone there from Gen-
eral Manager Klaus Peters
on down . . . and a gift for
plenty of good gas mileage
. . . a 10-speed bicycle he can
ramble about on. at the
farm.
Jim may be retired from
active routine . . . but it's a
pretty good guess his vast
catering knowledge will be
utilized in the consulting
field.
New director of catering
at Southfield Sheraton is
Nick Ristick, coming from
the Hyatt Regency in Dear-
born.

Pro Musica Society of De-
troit will present a concert
by soprano Jessye Norman
8:30 p.m. today at Orchestra
Hall.
For tickets, call Dr. and

Mrs. Hershel Sandberg,
353-6699.
