A This THOUGHT
FOR THE PASSOVER
for the drawing together of families
is the

time

The Passover is with us again, this ancient festival of
freedom with its sacred traditions of the paschal lamb
and the eating of unleavened bread. An element of
the Passover which has particular significance to
persons in our business is the gathering together of
families. Truly the Passover represents the core of
family living.

At this time we are moved to pledge ourselves anew
to the services of our insurance family and we do this
from our new office in the Renaissance Center.

Just think, you can talk 3 minutes for $7.35 when you dial direct.
So save the handy codes, and use them soon.
ALMOST DIRECT. Until your area has International Dialing, calling is
still easy and economical. On station calls not requiring special operator
assistance, you get the same low rate as dialing direct. Just tell
the Operator the country, city name and local number you want, and get
ready to wish them "Mazel Tov."
P. S. Nearly everyone can dial direct to most telephones in Canada,
the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii and parts of Mexico—just as you dial direct
to cities inside the continental U.S.

WASHINGTON (JTA) —
The House Foreign Affairs
Committee voted Tues-
day an additional $200
million for Israel in military
assistance and approve an
additional grant of $260
million in economic aid to
replace a credit for that
amount.
Representative Dante
Fascell (D-Fla.) indicated
publicly at a House Foreign
Affairs Committee hearing
last Friday, dealing with
the U.S. vote March 1 in the
UN Security Council for an
anti-Israel resolution, that
Israel would receive $1.4
billion in the fiscal year
starting Oct. 1, if pending
legislation is approved.
The Carter Adminis-
tration's original pro-
posal for legislation pro-
vides for $1 billion in mili-
tary aid of which one half
would be forgiven and
$785 million in economic
supporting assistance of
which two-thirds would
be a grant. Since then the
Carter Administration
has boosted the military
assistance to Israel by
$200 million in credits.
Members of the Foreign
Affairs Committee then
proposed that the military
aid be increased to $1.4 bil-
lion and that the original
$500 million that is to be
forgiven stand intact. This
is to avoid a deficit in the

by the Administration.
On the economic support
fund, these members have
now proposed that the
entire $785 million be a
grant with no part of it to be
a loan. In effect, this means
that Israel would receive an
additional grant of $260
million in economic aid if
pending legislation is ap-
proved.

Chaim Najman will chant
