Enthusiasm is building in
the ranks of Allied Jewish
Campaign - Israel Emer-
gency Fund volunteer
workers as they countdown
the last 12 days before the
annual drive's formal open-
ing March 26.
Campaign divisions have
scheduled a final round of
telethons and reports meet-
ings before the opening
meeting, a reception and
dinner beginning at 6:15
p.m. at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Moshe Dayan,
former Israel foreign minis-
ter, will speak.
This Sunday, the Indus-
trial and Automotive Di-
vision will hold a final re-
port meeting at 10 a.m. in
the dining room of the
• Jewish Community Center
Health Club.
Sunday is also "M"
Day, when workers from
the Metropolitan Divison
turn in their completed
pledge cards at the
United Hebrew Schools'
board room between 10
a.m. and 1 p.m. Tele-
phones will be available
for workers to contact
prospective con-
tributors.
Phones will be ringing in
UHS' LaMed Auditorium as
well, as the Women's Di-
vision's Phonogift effort
enters its final day on Sun-
day. More than 7,000 area
