THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Developer Buys Atlantic Monthly BOSTON — The Atlantic Monthly, the 123-year-old journal of politics, litera- ture and public affairs, has been sold to Mortimer Zuc- kerman, a Boston de- veloper. The sale price was not disclosed. Zuckerman is the bachelor son of Jewish im- migrants, who has built a $150 million empire of shopping centers, apart- ments, hotels and offices in Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Fran- cisco and Washington. Labor Leading TEL AVIV (ZINS) — A poll by the Dachaf institute shows that Labor led by Shimon Peres would win 55 Knesset seats if an election were held now and Likud would win only 30 seats.
