Lionel Gilbert

Meyer Shoichet, a
retired grocery store owner,
died Feb. 16 at age 92.
Born in Russia, Mr.
Shoichet lived in Flint since
1929. He was a member of
Cong. Beth Israel, United
Commercial Travelers and
Bnai Brith. He retired in
1965. He resided at 1909
Seneca.
Mr. Shoichet is survived
by four sons, Joseph
Schafer, David Schafer, Sol
Schafer and Nathan
Schafer; a daughter,
Miriam Weinstein; two
brothers, Henry Schafer
and David Schafer; a sister,
Flora Dorfzaun; 15
grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.
