Golda Krolik Among Six
Honored by Urban League

The Detroit Urban
League honored Golda
Krolik and five other long-
time civil rights activists
last Friday at their annual
meeting in Cobo Hall.
Mrs. Krolik is a founding
member of Americans for
Democratic Action.
Others cited by the Urban
League included Geraldine
Bledsoe, Joseph Coles, the
Rev. John Forsythe, Shel-
ton Tappes and Joseph

The 16th annual South-
eastern Michigan Junior
Science and Humanities
Symposium will be held at
the McGregor Memorial
Conference Center at
Wayne State University
Feb. 29 and March 1.
Keynote speakers for the
conference will be Dr. Paul
M. Doherty, professor of
Physics at Oakland Univer-
sity; Dr. Walter E. Massey,
director of Argonne Na-
tional Laboratory; Dr.
William L. Thompson, pro-
fessor of biology at WSU;
and Dr. Cyril Ponnam-
peruma, director of the Lab-
oratory of Chemical Evolu-
tion at the University of
Maryland.
Jewish students par-
ticipating in the Sym-
posium include: David
