Mrs. Rath is the im- mediate past president of Pioneer Women, Greater Detroit Council. Mrs. Ross was president of that organ- ization in 1975 and is a member of Pioneer Women's national board. "Ma- tured bonds no longer pay interest to the bondholder; so by reinvesting, holders of Israel Bonds can resume re- ceiving interest payments while reaffirming their faith in Israel's economic growth." Janitor Charged A 39-year-old janitor at Federation Apartments will be arraigned next week in Oakland County Circuit Court on charges of sexually assaulting a 75-year-old woman resident of the apartments in January. Police said the- janitor, who worked and lived at the apartments since De- cember, has been convicted five times on charges of burglary, auto theft and as- sault. He escaped twice from Jackson State Prison. The others were David B. Hermelin and Irving Nusbaum. Dr. Haber, who was 'AOF president from 1950 to 1975, was presented with the ORT Centennial Award "as the embodiment of the spirit and the significance" of the centennial, which is being celebrated this year. David Hermelin was elected chairman of the Na- tional Organization Com- mittee, the national policy-making body of Men's ORT, and of its execu- tive committee. He was also re-elected vice president of the American ORT Federa- tion. Hermelin is past president of Detroit Men's ORT. Irving Nusbaum was pre- sented with the 1980 ORT Man of the Year Award at the Centennial Conference "for his leadership of De- troit Men's ORT and for his outstanding activities in support of ORT programs."
