breast care clinics Thursday
and Feb. 21 to teach women
how to look for and find
breast tumors early.
There will be a free pap
screening Feb. 12 and 26.
Oral cancer exams are
recommended for every
man or woman over 40,
especially those who smoke,
chew tobacco, use snuff,
drink alcoholic beverages,
or use these in combination.

Lamb Casserole

4 lbs. lamb shoulder cut into
2-inch cubes (trim fat)
'/3 cup flour
1 tbsp. corn oil
8 small whole onions, peeled
12 small potatoes
6 medium tomatoes
1 medium eggplant (peeled
and cut into 2-Inch cubes)
2 medium zucchinis, cut into
1-inch rounds
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. seasoning salt
Vs tsp. white pepper
2 bay leaves
1 clove garlic, crushed
Place flour and lamb in a
brown paper bag and shake
well to coat. Brown in oil. Place
meat and vegetables in a large
piece of heavy duty foil (large
enough to wrap). Combine
spices and sprinkle over meat
and vegetables. Wrap tightly
and fasten edges tightly. Bake
at 350 degrees for about 2 and
3/4 hours or until meat and veg-
etables are tender. Serves 6-8.
