Speakers Scheduled for Campaign Events

Dr. Eli Lasch, Israeli di-
rector of health services for
the Gaza Strip, will speak at
a parlor meeting on behalf
of the 1980 Allied Jewish
Campaign-Israel Emer-
gency Fund at 8 p.m. Wed-
nesday at the Bloomfield
Hills home of Campaign
Associate Chairman Jack
A. Robinson.
Dr. Lasch, a native of
Hamburg, Gerniany and a
veteran of Israel's War for
Independence, is spending
the current academic year
as a fellow at the Yale Pub-
lic Health Service School.
The Jan.23 meeting is the
third in a series of parlor
meetings on behalf of the
Campaign. The next meet-
ing will be Jan. 30, at the
Franklin home of Cam-
paign Co-Chairman Marvin
H. Goldman. Moshe Arens,
a member of the Israel
Knesset, will speak.

Fund-Raisers Set
The Allied Jewish Cam-
paign - Israel Emergency
Fund Junior Divison has
scheduled two fund-raising
meetings this month.
The Women's Pre-
Campaign Section will
sponsor a brunch at noon
Jan. 17 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. Guest speakers will
be Susan Citrin and Marcy
Feldman, active workers
with the Campaign's
Women's Division.

tural Center.
The meeting will feature
a film on Jerusalem and a
discussion on the current
situation in Israel and the
future of Jerusalem.
Panelists include: Uri
Segal, Michigan director of
the Institute of Students
and Faculty on Israel and
past president of the Israeli
Student Organization;
Elana Goel, a graduate of
Hebrew University who is
pursuing doctoral studies in
psychology at the Univer-
sity of Michigan; and Dr.
Jeremy Greenblatt, also a
Hebrew University
graduate, who is pursuing
post-doctoral studies at
Wayne State University in
organic chemistry.
