NEW YORK (JTA) — An
experimental school pro-
gram for Jewish high school
students with mild learning
disabilities is under way at
the Yeshiva University
high school for boys in
Manhattan with 13 stu-
dents.
The project, described by
university officials as the
first in the city at the
Jewish high school level,
was started last fall in con-
junction with P'tach, He-
brew for "opening," and also
an acronym for Parents for
Torah for All Children.

award dinner Saturday
evening as the 1980 ORT
Man of the Year.
The dinner is part of the

Conference.

American Jewish response
to the needs of the Cambo-
dian refugees has been "a
heart warming demonstra-
tion of concern" according to
Donald M. Robinson,
president of the American
Jewish Joint Distribution
Committee.
Robinson reported that
more than 100 communities
were actively participating
in the program of Cambo-
dian relief, and noted that
$100,000 had already been
received.
