turned down an assignment
during 50 years as a volun-
teer for the Jewish Welfare
Federation and Allied
Jewish Campaign, will
celebrate his 75th birthday
Tuesday.

began his long affiliation
with Federation in-1930 and

years and represented the
Food Division on the Jewish
Community Council. He
also served for several years
on Federation's board of
governors. He has received
numerous honors for his
dedication to the—commu-
nity, whose leaders could
count on him to be there
when needed.

Cong. Bnai Zion and of
Young Israel of Oak
Woods, where he is a
member of the board and
a participant in the
yearly Journal Collec-
