A UNIQUE graduation

party was recently attended
by 125 people at Kingsley
Inn.
At age 66, Elizabeth
Eichelbaum, former owner
with her late husband, Mar-
tin Eichelbaum, of The
Bagel on Woodward and
Vernor, started school
again . .. at Wayne State
University.
Four years later, 70-
year-old Elizabeth has re-
ceived her bachelor of fine
arts degree.
The party was given by
Liz and Martin's four sons
. . . all of whom have artistic
abilities . . . and all of whom
came in from their present
residences in various parts
of the country ... Stuart
Eichel, Knoxville, Tenn.;
Edward Eichel, New York;
Marvin Eichelbaum,
Chicago; and Stanley
Eichelbaum, outside of
Washington D.C.
Stuart and Ed are twins
... and each also does ad-
vertising art ... During the
Eichmann trial, Ed was liv-
ing in Israel and did the
courtroom sketchwork for
television ... No cameras
were allowed.
The last 10 years, Liz has
been doing paintings.

pany was named after his
mother, Sarah Finegood,
and Aunt Lil Frisch.

recently, Marge and Al
Kalish noticed some people
looking at the works of a
certain painter and having
a good laugh . . . They
walked over to see what was
going on .. The bearded ar-
tist had painted a sign
which he hung over his

New Ambassador

AMSTERDAM (JTA) —
Eytan Ronn has arrived in
Holland as the new Israel
ambassador in The Hague.
He succeeds Shlomo Argov
who left Holland three
months ago to become Israel
ambassador in London.
Ronn, who was born in
Hungary in 1920 and came
to Palestine in 1931, has
been Israel ambassador in
Ivory Coast and in Japan.

NEW YORK (JTA) — Is-
raelis between the ages of
10 and 18 took part in a pro-
gram recently aimed at
bringing the message of
Hanuka to the Jewish ill
and aged in three geriatric
centers in Queens, Brook-
lyn and Long Island. •
The 50 Israelis were
drawn from Jewish schools
and youth movements in
the New York area.
