In response to a WXYZ-
TV Bill Bonds "Special Re-
port" interview of Arab-
Americans from Dearborn,
the Jewish Community
Council of Metropolitan De-
troit arranged for a meeting
with Ch. 7 personnel to dis-
cuss what was perceived as
a pro-PLO bias in the pre-
sentation.
Ch. 7 agreed to produce a
program, to be aired 7:30
p.m. today, in which Bonds
discusses the Middle East
situation with local Jewish
community representa-
tives.
A number of planning
meetings were held prior to
the actual taping, which
was done at Temple
Emanu-El.
Participants in the meet-
ings included the Jewish
Community Council's Ma-
rian Shifman, Brian Kott
and Alvin Kushner, and
