We couldn't offer you anything but the best if we
tried. Our plant and products must comply with
strict U.S. Government and Rabbinical Inspec-
tions for Wholesomeness and Purity. If our poultry
doesn't pass, it can't move from plant to store.
So we process only the finest, specially-raised
poultry—young, plump, naturally juicy and tender,
full of country-fresh flavor: The Best. Either that,
or nothing. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Would you? Try one of our Chickens or Turkeys
and decide for yourself. You'll discover un-
dreamed-of pleasure in poultry. Because Kosher
means better—and Empire is the best, the genu-
ine, Kosher Poultry. For everybody to enjoy. Eat
in good health.

Angry Remarks

NEW YORK (ZINS) —
According to the newspaper
Haaretz, Labor Party leader
Shimon Peres excoriated
yordim with language bor-
dering on the obscene dur-
ing his visit to the U.S. last
week.
At a meeting with aliya
emissaries in New York,
Peres reportedly said that
children of yordim (Israelis
who leave Israel) should be
encouraged to repudiate
their parents and return to
Israel.

Too Much Help?

TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Ac-
cording to a former chair-
man of the board of El Al
Israel Airlines, the com-
pany may be running a high
deficit because it is over-
staffed.
Most airlines, he said,
have approximately 200
personnel for each aircraft
it owns. He said El Al's ratio
is 300 per aircraft.
