A Cash Harvest Lunch-
eon will be held at the Israel
Bonds office 11:30 a.m. Dec.
14 to conclude the 1979
Bond campaign.
The luncheon, an infor-
mal buffet, will be hosted by
David B. Holtzman, general
chairman, Metro Detroit Is-
rael Bonds.
"Two million dollars in
both outstanding balances
due on 1979 Israel Bond
subscriptions and new sales
must be 'harvested' if De-
troit's commitment to Israel
is to be fulfilled," Holtzman
said. "During this time of
the peace process, as Israel
faces new and unprece-
dented internal develop-
ment costs, we can do no less
if we intend to be true
partners in the peace."
"We are running ahead
of last year's rate of cash
collection, but still are
short of our goal. Be-
cause these are loan dol-

lars, we cannot provide
the increasing cash that
Israel requires without
the cooperation of
everyone who has made a
commitment in the year
of 1979."
Holtzman declared that
upon realizing and trans-
mitting to Israel this $2 mil-
lion in cash, the Detroit Is-
rael Bond organization will
have topped last year's sales
figure and will have
achieved the best year to
date since the inception of
the Bond program in 19
with the exception of th
Yom Kippur War year.
Presentation of Ambas-
sador's Society of Trustees
($10,000 or more) and
Shomrei Shalom ($1,000 or
more) honor scrolls to fully
paid-up subscribers will be
made at the luncheon.
For luncheon informa-
tion, call Israel Bonds,
557-2900.
