by the Bnai Brith Women's Council of Metropolitan
Detroit at its annual Special Gifts Luncheon at Hamil-
ton Place. Mrs. Shenkman is the organization's 1979
honoree. Pictured with her are, from left: her hus-
band, Jack; and Sylvia Ross, Council president.
Shenkman made a contribution for a classroom to be
named in honor of his wife at the Bnai Brith Women's
Children's Home in Israel. Last year's honoree, Sadie
Cohn, was presented with a "woman of valor" charm
and an album of highlights of last year's event.
