At least nine Arab states, and at least four non-Middle Eastern states, actively aided the Egyptian and Sy- rian war effort of 1973. Ms. Korn has a back- ground in education and human services, having worked at both public and Jewish communal agencies. The Day Program at Borman Hall is now enter- ing its fourth year. It offers to elderly individuals who can function independently within a structured suppor- tive setting an opportunity for intellectual stimulation, socialization and compan- ionship. It is augmented by programming in Jewish and cultural arts. Engagements Mr. and Mrs. David Taubman of Los Angeles announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Taubman, to Rabbi Neil Cooper, son of Mrs. An- nette Cooper of Oak Park and Mr. Louis M. Cooper of Plymouth. Miss Taubman attended the University of California at Los Angeles and is a student in the teacher's institute of the Jewish Theological Semi- nary.
