(JTA) — Cuba has called for
Security Council sanctions
to end all nuclear collabora-
tion with South Africa "by
certain Western countries
and Israel."
The call was included in a
statement issued last Wed-
nesday by Cuba as chair-
man of the 95-member
non-aligned group, express-.
ing grave concern about
"reports about a possible de-
tonation of a nuclear ar-
tifact by the racist South
Africa regime."

Egypt, Israel
Set Oil Price

JERUSALEM (JTA) —
Israel will pay Egypt $23.50
a barrel for the Alma fields'
oil in the first year after the
evacuation of those fields,
according to reports in
Jerusalem and Cairo.
This is the essence of the
agreement reached earlier
this week between Defense
Minister Ezer Weizman and
Energy Minister Yitzhak
Modai and Egyptian
President Anwar Sadat.
Under the agreement Egypt
and Israel would re-
negotiate prices after the
first year — with the under-
standing that at that stage
prices will probably be set at
world free market prices,
which are now approx-
imately $32 a barrel.
In the first year, Egypt
will Israel two million tons
of oil. Afterwards, according
to President Sadat, Israel
will be able to purchase
even more, but at the spot
market

Pontiac . . . and the wonder-
ful time their. guests are
still talking about.

Hoover ... or the excel-
lent waitressing of gals

Paula Banish, Rebecca
Valentine among others.
Entire motif coordinated
by party planner Marcia
Masserman was football .. .
After all, this was the Pon-
tiac Silverdome and home of
the Detroit Lions, as bad as
they are this year . . . In-
stead of ,placecards as you
entered, there were minia-
ture footballs with each
table the name of a football
team in the NFL and foot-
ball player cutout.
A sign said "Eric's
Stadium" . . . and even the
toothpicks had tiny foot-
balls on them . . . From invi-
tation, to party, were De-
troit Lions colors, silver and
blue (balloons were white,
as close to silver as Marcia
could get) . . . There was
even "Eric's Half-Time Bar"
for sodas, candy apples, etc.,
plus the regular all-night-
long bars for those not in
football training.
This was the last affair in
Detroit for Ruth and Al
