be known as the Dr. Myer
Teitelbaum Medical Ethics
Lectureship, is currently
being planned.
Dr. Teitelbaum, an ad-
junct assistant professor of
medicine at WSU until
1975, died Feb. 21, 1977, fol-
lowing a long and distin-
guished career as a physi-
cian and teacher. A 1934
University of Michigan
medical school graduate, he
taught at U-M for two years
before opening a private
practice in Detroit. In addi-
tion to teaching at Wayne
State Medical School, Dr.
Teitelbaum was affiliated
with Sinai Hospital of De-
troit, Grace Hospital and
Detroit General Hospital.
