numerous local projects, in-

synagogues and outreach
program for small com-
munities, Chabad leaders
Rabbi Berel Shemtov and
Yitschak Kagan said that
the progress made through
these efforts in creating an
interest in Hasidism in-
spired the invitation to
Wiesel to fully interpret
Hasidism to local leaders.

being prepared to assure
total representation of the
responsible leadership in
