calls it a "Fency Formal"
party, Oct. 27, at Tam-0-
Shanter Country Club .. .
It'll be a "Do You Remember
When?" shindig . . . and if
somebody says they sat at
12th and Pingree . . . might
be where their table was .. .
The invite has a
Littman's People's Theater
marquee that says "60 Year
Revue starring Eddie
Rosenberg" . . . with signs of
the Astor Theater, Sammy's
Blaine Restaurant,
Lacher's Kosher Catering,
Pimple's Pool Room, Cream
of Michigan, Buddy's
Bar-B-Q, Zukin's and Boes-
ky's Delicatessen . . . plus
downtown spots like
Graystone Ballroom, Con-
nie's Bar and Wonder Bar.
A large 12th St. sign is
prominent on the invite
... and whoever made it
sure didn't live around
there . . . A couple of roofs
had TV antennas.
Should be a lot of real
'hearty good fun.

from Bruce Lyons' office at
Manufacturers Bank on
Greenfield and Eight Mile
. .. Back in from outside
came Herb telling Bruce he
was going to sue . . . while
holding the filling from one
of his teeth.
AFTER 25 YEARS as an
all male organization, the
Hannah Schloss Oldtimers
recently voted to make their
group co-ed . . . Wives and
widows of deceased mem-
bers are eligible for mem-
bership, as well as women of
days gone by who partook of
the programs at the old
Hannah Schloss Building
on High St.
Now they can join with
the men in continuing
friendships and carrying on
traditions of good fellowship
