BB Gets Funds
for Aged Housing
WASHINGTON —. The
U.S. Department of Hous-
ing and Urban Develop-
ment has approved grants
to Bnai Brith International •
for the construction of three
more low-rent housing proj-
ects for senior citizens.
The additions bring to 17
the number of such housing
projects sponsored in the
United States by Bnai
Brith. The organization has
also constructed three
others, in Israel, London,
and Melbourne, Australia.
A fourth, a medical-
residence facility, is unde
construction in Vancouver,,
Canada.
The latest grants will put
3,400 apartment units
under Bnai Brith sponsor-
ship, 2,650 units in the
United States.

the fourth year of the sum-
mer internship program in
Jewish communal service
sponsored by the Jewish
Association for College
Youth (JACY) and the Fed-
eration of Jewish ghilan-
thropies.
