Ex-Cell-0 Chairman Named
for BB Humanitarian Award

Edward J. Giblin, chair-
man of the board and chief
executive officer of the Ex-
Cell-0 Corp., has been
named the 1979 recipient of
the Bnai Brith Interna-
tional • Humanitarian
Award. The award will be
presented at a black-tie
dinner to be held 'Nov. 20 at
the Detroit Plaza Hotel.
Giblin, who was recently
named associate chairman
foi- the 39th National Bible
Week interfaith obser-
vances in November, will be
cited "for his professional
and civic contributions to
Detroit."
Giblin is the Michigan
chairman of the 1979 U.S.
Treasury Savings Bond
Committee, tri-county
chairman for the 1979-1980
Savings Bond Drive and
serves on the board of direc-
tors of the United Founda-
tion of Detroit.
Other directorships in-
clude the Detroit Bank
and Trust Co., The De-
troit Edison Co., Tecum-

BB Lodge Asks
Kosher Kitchen
for Hospital

A resolution calling for
the installation of a kosher
kitchen at the National
Jewish Hospital and Re-
search Center in Denver
has been passed by the
Greater Detroit Bnai Brith
Council.
The resolution was urged
by Detroit attorney Jack
Kraizman who was unable
to obtain kosher food while
he was a patient at the hos-
pital.
