Beth Israel. Flint Obituaries Edwin M. Vater 1,500 PAIRS Edwin M. Vater, a Grand Blanc attorney, died Sept. 12 at age 48. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Mr. Vater lived in Flint for the past 18 years. He was a member of Cong. Beth Is- rael, the American Bar Association, the Interna- tional Order of Foresters, Bnai Brith and was an hon- orary member of the Na- tional Foundation of the March of Dimes.
