Friday, August 31, 1919 THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Variety of Hebrew Classes Offered at Midrasha College The Midrasha — College of Jewish Studies — will conduct registration and orientation for its fall semester of Hebrew classes 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Midrasha. The semester ° will begin Sept. 16. There is a fee per credit hour. Beginning Hebrew will be-held 12:30 p.m. Tues' days. 10 a.m. Thursdays and 7:30 p.m. Mondays. Basic reading in the Sid- dui- will be taught 10 a.m. Sundays and Thursdays and 7 p.m. Thursdays. Advanced beginning SHARP CLOTHES FOR FALL Hebrew will be taught 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thurs- days, while intermediate classes will take place 12:45 and 7:30 p.m. Thursdays. Advanced intermediate Hebrew classes will be held Grushky-Evans Rites Solemnized 11 a.m. Sundays and 10 a.m. Tuesdays. The advanced classes will meet noon Sun- day and 10 a.m. Thursdays. Literature courses will be head as follows: Hebrew lit- erature in America, 11 a.m. Sundays; modern Hebrew literature, 7:30 p.m. Tues- days; and literature of Ag- non, 11 a.m. Thursdays. GRUSHKY Laurie Annette Evans became the bride of Mark Allen Grushky in a recent ceremony at the Holiday Inn of Southfield. Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Harold Orbach officiated. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans and was given in marriage by her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Federspill. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Irving Grushky of Detroit. Nancy Grushky was maid of honor, and Paula Earls, matron of honor. Brides- maids were Beth Waters and Holly Armstrong. Lori Goldenberg was the flower girl. Randy Cohen was the best man. Ushers were Brian Gendelman, Terry Earls, Eric Federspill and Andrew Erlich. Mrs. Dina Bakken, grandmother of the bride, also participated in the ceremony. Mr. Grushky attends Wayne State University's medical school. The couple is residing in Royal Oak.
