JERUSALEM (JTA) —
Anti-Semitic manifesta-
tions have occurred in
Tunisia since the head
offices of the Arab League
were transferred there from
Cairo several months ago,
following the Israel-Egypt
peace treaty.
Israel Radio reported, cit-
ing travelers from Tunis,
that the notorious Protocols
of the Elders of Zion had re-
cently been issued by a pub-
lishing house in the capital
and that the leading news-
papers were taking some-
times stridently anti-
Jewish tones.
The local 7000-member
Jewish community has
made representations, the
travelers said, to President
Habib Bourghiba.
THE CRANISES
The couple's children are:
Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Chana)
Cranis of University City,
Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack
(Sarah) Cranis. The senior
Cranises have three
grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
