Magazine Banned

PARIS (JTA) — A war-
time German magazine,
"Signal," has been banned
by the French government
at the request of former con-
centration camp inmates
and resistance fighters
organizations.
The magazine is an exact
replica of the Nazi publica-
tion. It was generally con-
sidered a collector's item
among those involved in ob-
taining World War II
memorabilia.
Several anti-Nazi groups
expressed fear that the
magazine would "contami-
nate" its readers and spread
Nazi propaganda.
