Holocaust survivor David Bergman, who lectures loc- ally about the Holocaust, has published a book- cassette presentation entitled "Never Forget and Never Forgive." Bergman is a survivor of Auschwitz. He has a file of letters from students, teachers and professors stating that the cassette ac- companying his book brings out the realism of the Holocaust in a way no sur- vivor has ever been able to accomplish. Among other things, his cassette features the re-enacted, dreadful hissing of steam engines that sadly let Nazi victims know they were going to be taken from their homes. "Never Forget and Never Forgive" includes drawings by the author and others, pictures of Bergman's sculptures depicting the Holocaust plus appropriate historical photographs. There is a special sec- tion in Bergman's book in which other survivors are encouraged to in- scribe their experiences under Nazi terror. Every holder of the book is asked to interview other 588 2333 - TEL AVIV (JTA) — Is- rael is on the verge of a seri- ous water shortage because of a prolonged dry spell.
