Major division activities
slated thus far are a Tam-
0-Shanter Country Club
dinner scheduled for Sept.
29 and a Knollwood Coun-
try Club dinner set for Oct.
17, Tam-O-Shanter is the
holder of Israel Bond's Na-
tional Country Club Award,
in recognition of its role as
the first club in Michigan to
sponsor annual events on
behalf of the Israel Bond

campaign. This year marks
their seventh year of par-
ticipation.
Knollwood Country Club
held its first Bond dinner
last year.
The new Country Clubs
Division chairman was
born in Detroit and
attended Mumford High
School and the Univer-
sity of Detroit. In addi-
tion to his Israel Bond ac-
tivities he is a member of
the Board of Directors of
Detroit Men's ORT, a
member of Knollwood's
community relations
committee, and is a life-
long member of Temple
Beth El.
Grey and his wife
attended the international
Israel Bond Prime Minis-
ter's Conference in Israel
last January; they returned
to Israel last month in the
company of Grey's parents,
Irene and Oscar F. Grey of
Miami Beach, to a. ,dicate
the Grey Family Forest in
Lakav, near Beersheba, do-
nated in honor of the elder
Greys' 50th wedding an-
niversary.

to Head Hillel

WASHINGTON — Rabbi
Stanley A. Ringler of Miami
has been appointed national
director for community af-
fairs and development of the
Bnai Brith Hillel Founda-
tion.
The Hillel Foundation is
the Jewish student move-
ment on some 340 college
campuses in North America
and abroad, providing reli-
gious, cultural, social and
educational activities to
several hundred thousand
young people and fa
members.
Rabbi Ringler will work
with the Bnai Brith Inter-
national fund-raising staff
to explore new sources of in-
come, develope and main-
tain a close relationship be-
tween local Hillel boards of
directors and Jewish Feder-
ations, and work with
Jewish communal groups
on inter-agency programs.
