Activities Committee is
planning a trip to Lansing
Aug. 7 for a tour of Im-
pressions Five (sensory
museum) and Potter Park
Zoo.
On Aug. 20, a trip to
Safetyville in Kearsley
Park is planned. The season
finale will be a trip to Battle
Creek on Aug. 29 for a tour
of the Kellogg Co. and other
points of interest. A bus will
be chartered if 50 reserva-
tions are received.

Flint Obituaries

FRANCES HERTZ, 78,
formerly Of Flint, died July
12. Mrs. Hertz was born in
Poland, Sept. 1, 1902, and
had lived in Tucson, Ariz.
for the past two years.
She was a member of
Cong. Beth Israel and its
Sisterhood, Hadassah, and
was a past president of Flint
Pioneer Women. She was a
member of the Jewish War
Veterans Auxiliary. Sur-
viving is her son, Dr. Louis
Hertz of Tucson.
